The candidate will operate successfully in a cross-dock model picking up a loaded truck from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock and return the empty truck back to the assigned lot at the end of the route. May be required to assist occasionally with loading trucks, palletizing product, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. \n\n Minimum Requirements: \n\n \n\t 21 years of age \n\t Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen \n\t Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record \n\t Ability to read, write, and communicate in English \n\t Touch freight - may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly \n\t Flexibility - overtime as required, weekends, and holidays as business needs require \n \n\n Preferred Requirements: \n\n \n\t At least 1 year of customer delivery experience \n\t At least 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience \n\t At least 6 months of food and beverage experience \n\t At least 2 years of consistent work history \n \n\n Sysco is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.
