Job Description Job Description Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Woodland, Washington Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-5 Compensation: up to 90k DOE Are you looking for a Senior Accountant role near Woodland, Washington? Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis, supporting cost accounting, financial reporting, and manufacturing data analysis while helping improve reporting and processes. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to work with a collaborative team. In this role, you will: Lead month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting Perform cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis Analyze manufacturing data (production, labor, waste, scrap) to identify trends, cost drivers, and process gaps Build, improve, and automate financial and operational reports and dashboards using ERP data and advanced Excel Partner closely with operations, purchasing, and production to improve data quality and reduce external reporting workarounds To be a fit, you must have: 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing environments Deep knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and complex data analysis Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas) and comfort working directly with large datasets Experience identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and translating data into actionable insights Strong communication skills and the ability to support data-driven decision-making across non-finance teams Pay Details: $45.00 per hour Search managed by: Bridget Deal Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
