Our client, a leading manufacturing facility, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an essential part of the administrative support team, ensuring smooth operations within the facility and delivering excellent customer service to all visitors and clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to safety and compliance, aligning successfully with the organization’s goals. Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Birmingham, AL Pay Range: $18.00/hour Shift: What's the Job? Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently. Partner with management to set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts. Assist with the entire new hire process in collaboration with HR teams. Manage local accounts payable processes, including creating purchase orders and reviewing invoices. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all customers and manage daily operational reporting. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong proficiency in MS Office applications. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a customer service environment. Ability to manage demanding timelines and work independently. Prior experience in manufacturing or transportation is preferred. What's in it for me?
