Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Facilities Management
Director to oversee the proper functioning and maintenance of our
healthcare facilities, including inpatient rehabilitation hospitals
and home health agencies. This role is critical to ensure that our
facilities meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and
patient comfort. The Facilities Management Director will be
responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies,
managing facility-related budgets, and leading a team of
maintenance professionals to achieve organizational goals and
compliance with health regulations. Develop and implement
comprehensive maintenance strategies for healthcare facilities.
Lead and manage facilities staff to ensure efficient operation and
maintenance of all building systems. Coordinate with healthcare
administrators to align facilities management with patient care
objectives. Manage budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation
for facilities maintenance and upgrades. Ensure compliance with all
safety, health, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular
inspections and audits of facilities to identify and address
maintenance issues. Collaborate with security teams to ensure
facilities are secure and emergency preparedness plans are in
place. Strong leadership and organizational skills Expertise in
building systems and maintenance requirements Proficiency in budget
management and cost control Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
Deep knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations
