Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
Pelham, AL, this contract position offers the opportunity to
support K-12 students as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist.
Working within a structured school environment, you will play a
vital role in identifying and addressing the unique needs of
students through comprehensive psychological evaluations and
collaboration with educators and families. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and screenings to identify
disabilities, learning challenges, and behavioral or emotional
issues. Collaborate with teachers, families, and a
multi-disciplinary team to develop and support Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs). Collect and analyze student educational,
social, and medical histories alongside testing across areas of
functioning. Interview and observe students in their school
environment to gather relevant data. Compile detailed evaluation
reports for inclusion in official student records and respond to
legal evaluation requests. Administer psychological and
neuropsychological test batteries following standardized procedures
(Psychometrist role). Timely record, score, and report test results
while addressing any validity or timing issues. Support research
efforts by assisting in data collection, preliminary analysis, and
reporting in psychometric studies. Aid school personnel in
assessments needed for eligibility determinations and IEP data
collection. Qualifications: Relevant credentials and experience as
a School Psychologist or Psychometrist. Strong knowledge of
psychological testing, evaluation protocols, and special education
laws. Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary
teams. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Capacity
to manage data accurately and adhere to timelines. Position
Details: Location: Pelham, AL Schedule: 30 hours per week Contract
duration: Current School Year (CSY) VOCO services considered This
