Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A position is
available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support
school-aged children in Birmingham, AL, and surrounding areas. This
role involves providing specialized speech and language services to
students across multiple school settings, ensuring effective
communication development and academic support. Responsibilities
include: Conducting speech and language assessments to identify
student needs Developing individualized treatment plans based on
assessment results Delivering direct therapy services to students,
both in individual and group settings Collaborating with educators,
parents, and other professionals to promote optimal student success
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports Traveling
between assigned schools to deliver services efficiently
Qualifications and desired experience: Valid state license or
certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Strong knowledge of
speech, language, and communication disorders in the school-aged
population Experience working within educational settings is
preferred Ability to manage caseloads and maintain organized
records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and willingness to travel to different schools within
the assigned region Location:This role is based in Birmingham,
