School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do

position based in Alabaster, AL offers an opportunity to provide
vital psychological services to school-aged children. The role
focuses on supporting students with learning, emotional, or
behavioral challenges by conducting evaluations, collaborating with
educators and families, and contributing to Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs). Responsibilities include administering
psychological evaluations following referrals from teachers and
administrators, gathering a comprehensive history of each student's
educational, social, and medical background, as well as
interviewing and observing students within their school
environment. Compiling findings into detailed reports that become
part of the students official record is also key. Additionally, you
will manage legal evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary
IEP teams to tailor support plans effectively. For those interested
in the School Psychometrist aspect, duties involve administering a
battery of psychological and neuropsychological tests according to
established procedures, scoring tests, and managing the collection
and reporting of test data for students referred by IEP teams. You
will monitor testing timelines, identify and report issues
impacting test validity, assist with psychometric research, and

for services. Ideal candidates hold relevant experience as a School
Psychologist or Psychometrist, with strong skills in psychological
