• 10 or more years of engineering experience including vehicle design, test and overall development.
• Familiarity will military specifications and standards preferred
• Understanding of forecasting and budgets.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.PRINCIPLE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make decisions on significant issues relating to engineering, configuration management, program strategy, and business development.
  • Develop plans and provide overall direction to Product Engineering group. Provide direction to others within the company on major program matters.
  • Analyze problems, develop solutions and strategy.
  • Prepare and conduct briefings to top management and outside (customer) personnel on status of major projects and issues.
  • Coordinate and implement plan(s) to support product build activities
  • Provide status of engineering activities, metrics, and issues to support product engineering needs
  • Provides information and direction to facilitate building of prototype vehicles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, plant personnel, vendors with various stakeholders by communicating project status, issues and next steps.WORKING CONDITIONS
    • This job operates in a professional office environment.
