Job Description:
AM General develops and builds specialized ground vehicle

SKILLS:
- 10 or more years of engineering experience including vehicle
design, test and overall development.
- Familiarity will military specifications and standards
preferred
- Understanding of forecasting and budgets.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.PRINCIPLE
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make decisions on significant issues relating to engineering,
configuration management, program strategy, and business
development.
- Develop plans and provide overall direction to Product
Engineering group. Provide direction to others within the company
on major program matters.
- Analyze problems, develop solutions and strategy.
- Prepare and conduct briefings to top management and outside
(customer) personnel on status of major projects and issues.
- Coordinate and implement plan(s) to support product build
activities
- Provide status of engineering activities, metrics, and issues
to support product engineering needs
- Provides information and direction to facilitate building of
prototype vehicles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and establish
and maintain effective working relationships with staff, plant
personnel, vendors with various stakeholders by communicating
project status, issues and next steps.WORKING CONDITIONS
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This
role routine uses standard office equipment such as computers,
phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and copy, fax and scanning
