Job Description Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting
opportunity for a CNC Machinist- Lathe 1st Shift at our Auburn,
CA/Vian Enterprises location. Hours are Monday-Friday
7:00am-4:30pm. We are open to paying a sign-on bonus up to 5k to
relocate someone outside of the Bay area. New hires as also
eligible for a $1000 sign-on bonus. About Crane: Crane Aerospace &

Aerospace & Electronics. Job Summary: The CNC Machinist produces
machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical
control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards,
keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies. Essential
Functions: \n Understand work orders, blueprints, manufacturing
orders, and machining parameters \n Validate material used \n
Maintain specifications; Troubleshoot, detect malfunctions and take
appropriate actions; Know when to replace worn tools \n Listen to
machining operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by
dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and compensate for
problems \n Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure
conformance to specifications using precision measuring
instruments, templates, fixtures and knowledge of GDT standards \n
Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating
actions taken thus far as well as any necessary further steps \n
Any other task assigned by supervisor or management \n \n
Non-Essential Functions: Maintain conscientious work behaviors
including work ethic, safety standards, quality, costs, and On-Time
Delivery (OTD) \n Minimum Qualifications: \n Experience: 2 year of
experience machining with CNC Lathes. \n Knowledge: Knowledge of
various inspection equipment i.e. micrometers, calipers, and height
gages; Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations; Knowledge of
Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing; Understanding of cutting tool
Geometry; Knowledge of tooling and coordination \n
Skills/Abilities: Able to work quickly and efficiently through
Process Improvement structure; Good verbal and written
communication; Strong attention to detail and accurate record
keeping \n Education/Certification: High School Diploma or
equivalent \n \n Eligibility Requirement: This position may require
access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position
requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US

the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye
safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist

factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a
