Job Description Job Description Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for driving operational excellence? This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching teams, and has a strong technical background in engineering and maintenance. Responsibilities Coordinate maintenance and repair work across plant departments. Manage the maintenance department budget and lead plant CAPEX initiatives. Implement programs and procedures to ensure safety, product quality, and operational efficiency. Plan and execute plant improvements and expansions. Develop and maintain training manuals for the maintenance team. Monitor and review plant equipment performance using software systems to minimize downtime and identify improvement opportunities. Maintain and repair maintenance shop equipment. Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend solutions for operational improvements. Assist in hiring maintenance personnel. Initiate projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. Requirements 3 years of relevant management experience in engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of: packaging equipment, conveyance systems, building utilities. PLC (Allen Bradley), electricity, HVAC. Project management, maintenance tracking software, efficiency tracking tools. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and advocate for employees. Hands-on approach when needed.
