Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician - $36 to $40/hr - Direct Placement Responsibilities Determine the manpower and material requirements, means, and methods to accomplish work assignments and recommend changes. Prepare and paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas. Use tools and test equipment effectively. Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as required. Coordinate with Maintenance supervision when locking and tagging systems. Observe safety standards and practices diligently. Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with standards. Train new hires and transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety standards. Essential Skills 2-5 years of experience with drive trains, including belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chains. Basic electrical skills including 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase. Fabrication skills, including welding, grinding, and assembly. Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work effectively with mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace. Work Environment Work in a very large food manufacturing facility with two buildings. Building one contains equipment updated from the 1980s, while Building two has equipment updated from the 2000s. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Medical, dental and vision benefits. 401K and retirement Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Troy,OH.
