Job Description Job Description Insight Global is hiring a full time maintenance technician to join a telecom client. The System Technician is responsible maintain, service, and repair hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) broadband communication network and components. This position plays a critical role in supporting the reliability, performance, and safety of the system, while delivering high?quality service and professionalism to customers and internal teams. You’ll work hands?on with cables, power supplies, fiber splicing, and test equipment while performing system sweeps, plant surveys, and emergency restorations when needed. A typical day includes driving a company vehicle to job sites, documenting work completed, addressing customer concerns, and supporting hybrid fiber builds. You’ll also help identify signal leakage, ensure compliance with FCC and safety standards, keep your tools and vehicle organized, and occasionally assist in training newer technicians. This position requires strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a fast?paced, field?based environment. Must Have: Highschool diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills including internet and email Familiarity with HFC network operations 2-4 years' experience preferred Strong communication and problem solving skills Valid driver's license and good driving record Nice to Have: Related associates degree Any additional cable, fiber, or hybrid network experience The pay for this position is starting at $19/hr, but can range up to $30/hr based on experience.
