The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while adhering to safety and biosecurity standards. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on hatchery equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly. Record maintenance tasks and outcomes accurately in the maintenance log. Adhere to all safety, health, and biosecurity protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Collaborate with hatchery management to optimize equipment performance and assist in the implementation of new technology. Provide emergency on-call support for any critical equipment failures. Strong technical skills with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and operation manuals. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical maintenance are beneficial.
