Key Responsibilities The Co-op will be assigned an engineering
project aligned with Schaeffler’s current research and development
initiatives within the Engine or Chassis departments. In addition,
the Co-op will collaborate closely with the engineering team on a
daily basis, contributing to a range of innovative and technically
challenging projects. Key responsibilities include but not limited
to: EE integration of mechatronics systems and components (incl.
sizing, e.g. e-motor), reviewing interface specifications, wiring
schematics, creating wire harnesses and electrical triage
[macroscopic] -> integration into HiL, Vehicle environments
Circuit design and analysis/testing (e.g., analog filtering,
sensorics), PCBA prototyping, wiring schematics [microscopic]
Market research of EE products, benchmark, and documentation
Interfacing teams – effectively communicate with these cross
functional teams in order to effectively complete assigned tasks
Participants should be responsible, able to work independently, and
open to instruction S/he will be given developmental opportunities
through tasks such as projects, job-rotation, hands-on training,
and exposure to Schaeffler's manufacturing and technological
processes Your Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or
related field Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester Experience
in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal
communication skills Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve
results Ability to prioritize The ability to sit at a workstation
for extended periods, and lift and move thirty pounds Exhibit a
willingness to learn Assertive approach to solving problems
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship skills with an ability
to collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed As
