Position Information Req Nbr 27921 Job Title Administrator, Development Programs (Samuel Ginn College of Engineering) Department/Organization Development Admin Salary Grade 33 Salary Range $39,300 - $65,500 Status Full-Time Job Summary The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is seeking candidates for a Development Programs Administrator for the 100+ Women Strong Program. Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Development and the Engagement & Donor Relations Manager, the person in this position will be tasked to provide program support for the 100+ Women Strong Program within the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: * Provide the essential day-to-day management, budgeting, planning, development and implementation of 100+ Women Strong program * Ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame * Engage with alumni, donors, students, faculty and staff to increase engagement and awareness of program * Create and maintain records of members, contacts and constituents * Participate and assist in the solicitation of gifts/memberships/sponsorships through person-to-person visits, group visits and phone/email contacts * Identify and recommend individuals, corporations or groups who qualify as prospective donors and ensure information is forwarded to appropriate development colleagues * Provide stewardship to include acknowledgment and gratitude for donations or program membership * Complete daily operational duties for program or events to include coordination and organization of activities, meetings and events as well as activities such as mailings, phone calls, emails, renewals, membership lists, membership dues, etc. * Responsible for routine tasks associated with program to include, but which are not limited to, internal or external promotional activities; preparation of reports; presentation of statistics, updates, etc. * Manage and process financial transactions such as vendor vouchers, travel expenses, and employee reimbursements accurately and according to University policies and procedures * Utilize computer programs to complete daily tasks such as correspondence, calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, mail merges, and donor reports * Provide a high level of professionalism and courtesy to current and prospective donors, volunteers, and staff * Attend College and University events as appropriate * Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Development and the Engagement & Donor Relations Manager Minimum Qualifications Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; six (6) years' Experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, and/or public relations relevant to the solicitation of gifts. Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the areas of fundraising, sales, marketing, recruitment, stewardship, and/or public relations. Candidates should possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills; the ability to deal creatively, confidently and professionally with a wide variety of donors; and have the ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects. The desire and willingness to work collaboratively in a team-based environment is imperative; and availability to work occasional nights and weekends is also required. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email software.
