Chick-fil-A Auburn is located near the hub of downtown and also borders the edge of campus so it's a bustling location that serves many people daily!
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Chick-fil-A Auburn is looking for an Assistant Director of Operations to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are seeking lasting impact and are driven to exceed expectations. This role is for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and likes to make things happen instead of sit behind a desk all day. This leader will have the ability to influence the culture of the restaurant by leading the back of house top to bottom including inventory, ordering, and inspection readiness. This individual will have the opportunity to have a lasting impact on team members, guests and the community. We are looking for strong and hungry leaders who would be put on a track for intentional development with high-level responsibilities and expedited career growth. POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, execute, and ensure compliance of all systems
  • Ensure food safety and quality are exceeding expectations
  • Lead, train and develop 100+ back of house staff
  • Provide accountability through high-quality feedback
  • Ensure operational effectiveness to grow revenue
  • Perform with excellence while in the operation of the business
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks such as inventory, ordering, and scheduling
  • Demonstrate good stewardship of the business and resources
  • Meet regularly with the Operator for development
    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
    • 5+ years of leadership or management experience required
    • Experience leading in a Kitchen or similar environment required
    • Entrepreneurial mindset; makes the business a priority
    • Desire to develop and care for team members; strong relationship builder both internally and externally
    • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
    • Professional in appearance, communication, and action
    • Proven leadership ability (could be in athletics, clubs, ministry, among other things)
    • Go-getter with the ability to think for the business toward growth and work hard to make it happen
    • Willingness and humility to serve others first whatever it takes
    • Strong Communicator, Able to motivate
    • Detail oriented/organized
