Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA), founded in 2012, offers premier early childhood education. The company provides children, newborn to 5-year-olds, opportunities to develop qualities to prepare them for an increasingly interconnected world. Big Blue Marble Academy takes a unique approach to early childhood education through three key pillars Global Citizenship, Language Immersion and Giving Back. Big Blue Marble Academy's proprietary curriculum pairs Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics (STEAM) with exposure to a second language and other cultures, while also instilling the importance of giving back to our communities both locally and globally. Big Blue Marble Academy also offers an After School Program which includes language enrichment for school aged children. The company has an aggressive growth strategy consisting of acquisitions and greenfield developments to expand the company's footprint from 32 locations to over 90 during the next five years.The Company is seeking a New School Transition Manager, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, to lead and oversee the execution of all aspects of the transition and on-boarding process for new schools. Key responsibilities will include system conversion, curriculum implementation, administrator training, and regulatory compliance. This critical leadership position will ensure a smooth and seamless transition process for all constituents including administrators, teachers, parents, and students that builds on the success of the prior owner.Responsibilities (what You Will Be Responsible For Achieving) Engage with sellers to gain a deep understanding of their daily operations and program. Proactivity identify operational and programming differences between BBMA and the acquired school. Develop detailed transition plans (tasks, resources required, staffing, timing, etc) to ensure we continue to maintain the core strengths of the acquired schools Proactively lead, manage, and support the transition processes by providing clear tactical direction to ensure the transition plan is successfully completed. Ensure timely transfer and completion of all regulatory requirements required by local and state governmental authorities. Upon completion of the transition plan, provide further assistance to the SVP to transition the acquired to schools to their designated geographic operating unit and local leader. For new Greenfield units, manage the start-up process from certificate of occupancy (CO) through initial licensing to include, but not limited to placing equipment orders, setting up classrooms, and hiring staff. Serve as a role model for strategic thinking, leadership, company values and humility in all you do Possess superior communication and interpersonal skills to articulate goals and objectives and effectively engage with a wide variety of stakeholders RequirementsThe ideal candidate's experience should include success in managing multi-unit early childhood education (ECE) and will possess the following 7-10 years of operational leadership in ECE Entrepreneurial nature and ability to roll-up sleeves, yet highly functional in a corporate team environment Solid professional reputation and a proven track record of success as an operational leader Technologically savvy with the ability to leverage and utilize numerous IT tools to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively. Ability to think strategically and execute with a sense of both urgency and quality Ability to travel up to 85% BenefitsWe offer a team environment that supports the learning success of children.
