Surgical Technologist - Full-time or Part-timeStarting Pay - $18.80/hrSurgical Technologist Responsibilities:Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.Sterilizing equipment and instruments.Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.Tracking surgical supplies.Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.Helping provide great patient care.Qualification:Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred, or a similar experience in practical nursing or an operating room.1 - 2 years experience.Current BLS certificate required.Ability to interact comfortable with a high volume of patients, families, and staff in a stressful environment.Demonstrated knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment and supplies located in the operating room.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $18.80 per hourSchedule:* No weekendsAbility to Commute:* Ashland, AL 36251 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Ashland, AL 36251: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
