Pay Information $1,581 per week About The Position ID: 55262628 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Description: Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted depending on years of experiencePatient Population: Adults to GeriatricsCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHGeneral Skills and Work Setting Requirements: 8 Main (Med Surg/Tele): Acute on Chronic Heart Failure, Post Cath with interventions, Chest pain, Unstable Angina, Irregular Heart Rhythms with Amiodarone gtts, ACS, Sepsis, Syncope, AKI, Pneumonia, Respiratory Distress with Bipap, Seizures, Pulmonary embolism, Hypertension, Small Bowel obstruction, Lower GI Bleed; Intermediate Care Unit/PCU/Stepdown: Decompensated Heart Failure on Dobutamine gtts, DKA on Insulin gtts, AFIB with RVR, Septic patients requiring low dose Levophed gtt, Thoracic patients with chest tubes, CVAs, Fresh Trachs, GSW/MVCs, GI Bleeds requiring multiple units of blood, Hypertensive Emergency requiring Cardene gtt, Occasional Pregnant patients requiring telemetry, Acute Encephalopathy, some due to ETOH abuse and requiring a Precedex gtt, Other drips: Dopamine, Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lasix, Milrinone, Labetolol (All gtts are titrated according to protocols), Patients requiring to go off the unit for tests, require the nurse to go with them with a portable monitor.Ratio / Census: Staffing Ratios on 8 main/telemetry are 1:6, Staffing ratios in the IMCU are 1:3/4 (depends on gtts); 32 Beds with 28 RoomsUnit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBARScrub Color: Royal BlueRTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekendFloating: Yes within scope and across facility and campusesCall Requirements: NoneHolidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
