Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a floating PCU-ED Hold position requiring cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and Epic experience. \n \n Responsibilities\n Work primarily in PCU-ED Hold and Nursing Resource units with frequent assignments in ED overflow Floating required throughout Auburn and possibly Covington, covering any PCU level patient or lower Cares for patients with respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, post-op, CVA, ETOH, overdose, CHF, post Cath or IR, and CIWA Patient ratio is 1:4 on a 33-bed PCU 12-hour day shifts with a 36-hour workweek Utilizes Epic EMR, prior experience required Responsible for managing varied patient cases including respiratory, renal, neurologic, and post-operative conditions Must be able to float to multiple units as directed First-time travelers will be considered Any color scrubs permitted except camouflage, navy blue preferred \n \n Requirements\n Active WA or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and BiPAP management, invasive line management, ostomy and drain care, chest and lumbar drains, IV medication titration, and CIWA patient treatment Epic charting experience required \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-621558.
