Job Description Cardiologist opening in Alexander City, AL - Located 50 miles from Montgomery and 88 miles from Birmingham - Service Area: 52,000 Position Details: - Full-time, permanent - Seeking a Cardiologist to join a dynamic group of cardiovascular providers. This single-specialty group is located on the hospital campus. - UAB affiliation - Weekend call: 1:3 - Clinic based and round at hospital - 9 staff members currently in office - Skill sets needed: Caths, Angioplasty, Inter-aortic balloon pump, Stress tests, Nuclear studies, VAD, PCI Compensation - Competitive compensation according to MGMA - Base salary wRVU productivity bonus; Quality bonus; health benefits; malpractice; CME; relocation expense; retirement; resident stipend; and assistance with medical education loan repayment; Marketing practice growth assistance The Hospital: Medical center is a not-for-profit, acute care hospital with a service area population of 52K.
