Job Description This not-for-profit, 81 bed acute care medical center, 88 mi from Birmingham, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist to join a dynamic group of providers. This single-specialty group is located on the hospital campus and boasts a new state-of-the-art facility providing quality care to patients living in this beautiful lakeside city. Recruitment Package may include: - Base salary w/RVU production incentive - Quality bonus - CME allowance - Sign-on bonus - Medical debt assistance - Relocation allowance - Residency stipend - Medical Director stipend - Health benefits Retirement plan - Marketing practice growth assistance RM- Cardiology Need Key Details about Position - Adult & geriatric focused - General Psychiatry preferred. We have resources and a support system to support many of the subspecialty areas. - This sole Psychiatrist will work with our onsite geriatrician. The hospital will also hire for support staff for this clinic (counselor, social workers. Etc) based on the doctor’s recommendations - No ER call, outpatient only for now. No call requirement. We do have plans in the next 2-3 years to have some inpatient beds. - Possible UAB affiliation - Will be located in a brand-new stat of the art Advanced Care facility - If physician onboard early, may have opportunity to help with building design - Looking for a candidate to start immediately Close to the pristine waters of beautiful Lake Martin, this medical center is a progressive, not-for-profit, acute care facility serving the needs of east Central Alabama.
