Utilizing the nursing process, you will deliver patient care under
the guidance of licensed professionals authorized by a State
regulatory board to prescribe treatments and medications, or under
the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will
maintain accountability for the care provided to your assigned
patients and coordinate care in collaboration with various
departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are
upheld. Position Overview: Location: Community Hospital Perry and
Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per
Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Multiple Shifts Available

90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Shifts

offered Work on your own schedule! Position Summary: Are you
looking for a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse role with
incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on
your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift
commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires you
to manage a minimum number of hours, be available on short notice,
and be adaptable to last-minute shift changes. Please note that the
Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be
prioritized for cancellations. The Licensed Practical Nurse - GIG
will have the opportunity to float between selected facilities.

Hospital Perry - Perryville, MO Community Hospital Southeast - Cape
Girardeau, MO Community Hospital Stoddard - Dexter, MO
Qualifications: Required Education: High school diploma or
equivalent GED. Licensure: Must be a graduate of an accredited
practical nursing program; equivalent educational experience and
successful licensure will also be considered. You are responsible
for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state
where you will be practicing, adhering to all State Board of
Nursing requirements. Experience: A minimum of one year of recent
bedside LPN experience is required for Medical-Surgical roles. For
other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), at least two years of recent
bedside LPN experience is necessary. Certifications: For
Medical-Surgical (MS) - BLS certification required. For Critical
Care (CC) - BLS and ACLS certifications required. For Emergency
Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. IV
certification is mandatory. Preferred Experience: Experience with
Epic software is advantageous. Physical Requirements: This position
necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50
pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each
shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat is
