Job Description Job Description Neurosurgeon - Dothan, Alabama Job Type: Full-time / On-site Position Overview A full-time opportunity is available for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join an established Neurosciences Clinic at a 420-bed regional referral hospital and Level II trauma center. This role offers a balanced mix of cranial and spine cases with shared call and strong multidisciplinary support. Key Responsibilities Perform a full scope of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures Provide trauma and emergency neurosurgical coverage Participate in a 1:3 shared call rotation Collaborate with neurologists, neuroendovascular specialists, and neurohospitalists Manage inpatient consults and follow patients through postoperative care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary conferences Practice Highlights Single-hospital coverage with no travel required On-campus clinic with direct access to the hospital, ED, and ORs Advanced technology including O-arm imaging and neurointerventional lab Dedicated Neuro ICU and 24/7 subspecialty support APP support for inpatient rounding and consults Teaching opportunities with residents available Required Qualifications Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery Eligible for or able to obtain an Alabama medical license Ability to manage both cranial and spine cases Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employer-sponsored retirement plan Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage CME and licensure support Student loan repayment options Community Highlights Low cost of living Approximately 90 minutes to Florida Gulf Coast beaches Mild climate and abundant outdoor recreation Regional airport and strong educational options Dothan, AL, U Company Description We are one of the leading healthcare staffing companies in the US.
