This contract position provides an opportunity to work in a setting dedicated to advanced cardiovascular treatment and patient recovery. Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, including post-CABG and dysrhythmias. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in managing patient treatment plans and monitoring responses. Administer and monitor cardiac-specific procedures such as cardiac catheterization, open heart surgery follow-up, ablation, and ICD care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records. Support cardiac short stay and chest pain observation units, ensuring high standards of patient care. Float to related units as needed to provide flexible support. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current RN licensure with stepdown nursing experience preferred. Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Familiarity with care for Coronary Artery Disease and related surgical interventions. Comfortably manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4. Efficient use of Epic charting system. Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as part of the dress code. Strong communication, critical thinking, and cardiac care skills. Schedule and Work Hours: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. 36 to 48 hours per week. Every other weekend scheduling.
