The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department. The role involves maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. The Registered Nurse delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
