Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity invites experienced Cath Lab Technologists to contribute advanced imaging skills in a dynamic procedural setting in Jacksonville, FL. This contract role offers exposure to a high-volume 370-bed hospital known for its cutting-edge cardiovascular services and award-winning care. Key Responsibilities: Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, stroke interventions, carotid stenting, and peripheral diagnostics. Scrub and monitor patients during complex procedures using state-of-the-art equipment such as GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra. Support prep and recovery areas as needed, maintaining smooth patient flow under the guidance of a dedicated Charge Nurse. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using MacLab and Meditech electronic medical records. Participate in rotating every-other-weekend and holiday schedules, along with on-call duties (approximately 15-18 days per month). Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Credentialed as RCIS, RCES, or RT(R). Minimum of 1 year experience in Cath Lab settings is acceptable. Expertise in scrub roles for left and right heart catheterizations and peripheral interventions. Ability to monitor patients throughout invasive procedures confidently.
