Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Paramedic - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Staff Paramedic – Occupational Health Location: Montgomery, AL (36015) Schedule: 24/7 Worksite Coverage - 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM - 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM - Monday–Sunday Full-Time | Open Availability Required Position will begin on night shift but may transition to days. Position Summary The Occupational Health Paramedic provides on-site medical support focused on injury prevention, early intervention, and workforce health. This role delivers triage, treatment, regulatory testing, and wellness support while partnering closely with site safety leadership on a 24/7 construction project. This position offers the opportunity to apply clinical skills in a proactive environment outside of traditional EMS or hospital systems. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care - Triage and treat occupational and minor non-occupational injuries - Provide follow-up care per evidence-based protocols - Support workers’ compensation and risk management processes Clinic Operations - Document all care in EMR (Cority) - Maintain a clean, stocked clinic - Communicate with leadership and local providers Safety & Prevention - Collaborate daily with site safety teams - Lead stretch-and-flex sessions - Conduct site walks to identify health risks - Promote wellness and injury prevention initiatives Onboarding & Compliance - Conduct new hire drug screens and orientation testing - Perform occupational health and substance testing - Participate in weekly team meetings and case reviews Customer Service - Build professional relationships with employees and site leadership - Promote a positive, safety-focused work culture Qualifications Education & Licensure - Current State Paramedic License - Current ACLS certification - OSHA-30 certification required - Valid driver’s license in good standing Experience - Minimum 2 years of Paramedic experience - Emergency, occupational, or industrial experience preferred Skills - Strong independent clinical decision-making - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong documentation and organizational abilities - Ability to work autonomously in an active construction environment Benefits Benefits available the first of the month following 60 days of employment - 401(k) with generous company match - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Short- and Long-Term Disability - AD&D and Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) About Mobile Medical Corporation Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) is a premier occupational health provider specializing in workplace substance abuse testing and on-site medical services nationwide.
