Job Description Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Troy, MI . This is a 12-week contract with potential for extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Responsibilities: Assists with the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician. Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties. Interviews patients/participants, measures vital signs, and records information on patients/participants charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients/participants. Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing. Performs basic materials management functions such as ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Education/Required Skills: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. BLS certification Epic experience Experience with medical documents (able to recognize type of document) MA preferred but we are definitely open to some Front Desk type people who have medical office experience already Compliance Mask FIT test is not required. Additional Information: Location: Troy, MI Schedule: M-F, 8:00 - 4:30 Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00/Hour (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) Interested?
