Job Description Hospitalist – Internal Medicine (10 Openings)
Location: Dothan, Alabama Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Position Overview We are seeking multiple
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalists
(MD/DO) to join a large, established hospital-employed group in
Dothan, AL. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a robust
inpatient program offering flexible schedules, strong support, and
competitive compensation. Practice Highlights Schedule: 7 on/7 off
rotation Shifts: 12-hour shifts (day or night), ~15 shifts per
month Patient Load: Average 18–20 patients per day Case Mix:
General inpatient care; admit and co-manage adult patients in an
open ICU with intensivist support Support: Dedicated admitters and
rounders, APP support, and 24/7 subspecialty coverage
Responsibilities: Provide coverage for unassigned ED patients
requiring inpatient admission Care for transfers and inpatient
consults Participate in quality improvement initiatives Charting:
EPIC EMR system Compensation & Benefits Salary: Highly competitive
base compensation with productivity bonus Sign-On Bonus: $100,000
