Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Birmingham, AL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,843 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Birmingham, Alabama, 35211! Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU - Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Cardiac drips Description: The position involves providing care to patients in a progressive care unit. The focus is on patients with cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry and administering cardiac drips. The unit typically manages patients post-CABG, post-Cath, those presenting with chest pain, and congestive heart failure (CHF). The facility has a 41-bed capacity with a patient ratio of 4-5:1. The equipment used includes Alaris pumps and Omnicell. Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred. Candidates must display professionalism and adhere to dress code guidelines.
