Job Description Contract Licensed Pharmacy Technician- HYBRID HOME/OFFICE SCHEDULE! $19 - $20 an hour Birmingham, AL Our partner in Birmingham is searching for a Licensed Pharmacy Tech to work in a hybrid home/office role that will assist their Prior Authorization Team. This is a contract role now, but there is always the potential of it becoming longer-term. If you are a Licensed Pharmacy Tech or have an active national pharmacy technician certification who has retail or clinical experience and would love to work in a hybrid role for one of the best employers in Alabama, please apply now! Job Description: Perform administrative work including data entry, reviewing prior authorization requests from doctors and calling doctors’ offices when additional information is needed. Enter data into company software. Job Requirements: Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician; state license required, national a plus; OR have an active national pharmacy technician certification. Retail or clinical pharmacy experience required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines. Strong computer skills needed. Strong communication skills a must.
