(OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is
available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in
a school setting located in Kent, WA. This role provides essential
support to students with special needs, helping them improve their
daily living and academic skills through occupational therapy
interventions. Key Responsibilities: Assist Occupational Therapists
in implementing individualized treatment plans for students.
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and
daily living skills. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and
families to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
environment. Document student progress and maintain accurate
records in compliance with school policies. Participate in team
meetings and contribute to the development of individualized
education programs (IEPs). Qualifications: Current certification as
a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience
working with children in school or pediatric settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively
collaborate with educators and families. Ability to adapt therapy
techniques to meet the diverse needs of students. Knowledge of
school-based occupational therapy practices and relevant
regulations. Location: Kent, WA This contract position offers the
