to life.--Department Leader -Operations Trainer Opelika,
AL--Position SummaryDevelops, delivers, and coordinates training
programs for Soft Gel, Tableting, Gummy, Packaging, Warehouse, and
Maintenance Departments. Develop computer and application training
activities for all levels of Operations employees. Evaluates the
ongoing development and assessment of the operations certification
process and recertification process across all departments and
shifts. Develop and sustain the onboarding training process for new
hires and temporary employees. ----Key ResponsibilitiesDevelops,
validates, and publishes training materials, including SOPs, Job
Instructions/Job Aids, Once points lessons, Quick Reference Cards,
and other related training materials for standardization of
operations across all shifts. Responsible for auditing current
SOPs, Job Instructions and batch records on an annual basis and
leading the effort to update them when appropriate.Collaborates to
define training materials, course content, curriculum objectives,
scope, and timeframes for execution for new equipment or processes
in operations.Conducts training classes, tutorials or help sessions
on a group or individual basis. Training will be performed in a
classroom, on the shop floors across all shifts of the operation,
through demonstrations and through coaching.Develops and implements
additional process improvement and Lean programs, strategies and
initiatives or other assigned projects to support the business
objectives.Develop and maintain a training database for all
training records for all Operations employees. Maintain a training
schedule for all departments to cover cGMP, Safety, HACCP, SOP s
and Quality.Responsible for the organization of department training
records to ensure they are accessible for audits and other
department needs.Performs other related duties as assigned.Ideal
Candidate Profile---- ----You ll be most successful in this role if
you have:Ability to collaborate with others to develop course
content, exercises, and presentation materials to support the
rollout of new processes and tools. This work includes the
development of job aids and online help materials for end-user
training across the organization.Ability to develop technical
materials in support of a manufacturing operations
environment.Skilled in using personal computing equipment and
software packages such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Excel,
and Visio.Proven skills that will help in evaluating and setting
project schedules and making recommendations for future training
needs.The ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule
multiple tasks with minimal supervision and adjust to changing
priorities and assignments.Excellent interpersonal skills: ability
to communicate and relate well with others from a variety of
backgrounds and levels.--Capabilities & Skills RequiredIn order to
take on these challenges, you ll need to have:College degree,
BS/BA, preferred but not required.Five years of experience in a
manufacturing environment is required.Experience in designing and
developing technical end-user training on multiple complex
projects.Project Management and Lean Manufacturing experience is

$109,400.00--This represents the minimum and maximum base salary
range for this role, plus annual incentive.
