a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Treasury Solutions
organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL,
Dallas, TX, Strongsville, OH, Charlotte, NC, and Phoenix, AZ. Due
to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software
Engineers. Candidates should have experience with the following:
EDI / File Integration Delivery (Primary Need) - Design, develop,
enhance, and support EDI/X12 solutions for inbound/outbound
transaction processing. - Partner with internal stakeholders and
external trading partners to onboard, implement, and maintain EDI
flows. - Validate, parse, transform, and reconcile EDI files and
other transaction formats. - Support and optimize file movement and
secure transfers using Sterling File Gateway. Mainframe Development
& Support - Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, with
strong adherence to generally accepted coding principles. - Build
and support batch processes using JCL, including scheduling
dependencies, error handling, and rerun procedures. - Perform data
access and analysis using DB2, including query work via SPUFI. -
Work with VSAM datasets and file structures supporting transaction
processing. Production Support & Troubleshooting - Provide
technical troubleshooting for file-based processing issues, job
failures, data mismatches, and performance concerns. - Conduct
root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent
recurrence. - Support incident response and follow operational
practices for stability, reliability, and timely resolution. PNC is

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software
solutions. - Proposes & designs software solutions to address
complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural
documentation required. - Facilitates complex problem resolution. -
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews
coding, testing, and documentation of software. - Applies modern
principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $158,700.00 Salaries may vary based on
geographic location, market data and on individual skills,
experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the
payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
