Job Description Job Description Temporary Litigation Paralegal Jacksonville, FL | Full-Time | Onsite | Immediate Need Position Overview A busy litigation team is seeking a highly skilled Temporary Litigation Paralegal to provide critical support across a variety of complex litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with solid law-firm experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle a heavy caseload, and work proactively with multiple attorneys. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-driven, and comfortable managing litigation tasks from drafting routine court documents to handling large sets of records and preparing materials for trial or motion practice. Key Responsibilities The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys in all facets of litigation, including: Drafting routine court filings such as Notices of Appearance, Pro Hac Vice Motions, Notices of Motion, Subpoenas, Stipulations, and related documents Compiling and drafting legal documents for attorney review, including affidavits and routine discovery responses Obtaining, organizing, and tracking medical, educational, and other third-party records through requests, subpoenas, and vendor coordination Preparing exhibits, demonstratives, and supporting materials for hearings, depositions, and motion practice Analyzing, organizing, and indexing medical treatment records, educational records, and other complex document sets Assisting with deposition preparation and general trial preparation tasks as needed Reviewing documents for relevance, privilege, and accuracy in anticipation of production Categorizing and analyzing reports, discovery responses, data, and case records Recording billable time in accordance with policies and deadlines Requirements Candidates should meet the following qualifications: Minimum 4 years of relevant litigation paralegal experience Strong organizational and follow-up abilities Experience preparing medical chronologies and billing indexes preferred Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive assignments Experience working with multiple attorneys and managing large, document-intensive cases Proficiency in Lexis and/or Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, and KOFAX Professional Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate Strong attention to detail, independent work capability, and commitment to accuracy Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is: A fast learner with excellent initiative Able to manage a demanding workload with shifting priorities Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Highly responsive, reliable, and detail-oriented Professional, adaptable, and committed to producing thorough, accurate work Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour Search managed by: Patrick Thompson Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
