Job Description:
Koch Foods, a leader in poultry processing in the USA, is
seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Feed Haul Driver to
support our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for
the safe and efficient transport of animal feed from our production
sites to various farms while ensuring the integrity and timely
delivery of our products. Join our team and contribute directly to
the supply chain efficiency of a major player in the poultry
industry. Safely operating a feed delivery truck within DOT
regulations. Ensuring timely delivery of feed according to
scheduled routes and delivery times. Performing pre-trip and
post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in working order and
safe to operate. Maintaining logs of working hours or vehicle
service or repair status, following applicable state and federal
regulations. Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or
road construction. Promptly reporting any accidents or vehicle
issues encountered while enroute. Helping to load and unload feed
from trucks as necessary. Ensuring compliance with Koch Foods
safety standards. Proficient in operating heavy vehicles,
specifically feed delivery trucks. Strong understanding of DOT
regulations and safety standards. Excellent time management skills
to maintain scheduled delivery timelines. Ability to perform minor
vehicle maintenance. Effective communication skills for
coordination with dispatch and reporting issues. Must possess a
valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Clean driving
record. DOT medical card.
