Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Selects, positions, and
aligns angle degrees in machine ram and bed. Turns setscrews or
bolts to fasten clamp bar that holds guides in position. Turns
adjustment screws to set specified pressure of ram and clearance
between cutting path of saw. Lays out or details layout on work
stock from blueprints or templates. Positions work piece to align
layout marks of desired cut. Starts saw to cut desired angle of
material. Sets stops on saw and repositions stock to run successive
pieces, or to perform multiple operations. Keeps a running
inventory of assigned material. Verifies dimensions of work piece.
Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job
has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this
job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

EXPERIENCE High school education preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability
to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write
routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such
as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,
area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry, and read/use tape measure. REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations. Ability to adhere to delegation of
authority and lead by instructions of management and supervision.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. COMPUTER
SKILLS Basic computer skills may be preferred or required for
Programmable Brakes. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Attendance is an
essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent,
reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability
to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts
and on weekends. Ability to work as part of a team, including all
related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve
internal and external customer satisfaction. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
