Job Description:
Koch Foods is seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant
Superintendent to oversee operations at one of our key poultry
processing facilities. The role is central to our mission of
delivering high-quality poultry products by adhering to the highest
standards of food safety and operational efficiency. As a Plant
Superintendent at Koch Foods, you will be instrumental in driving
the performance of our production processes, ensuring compliance
with all regulatory guidelines, and leading our team to meet
production targets and quality standards. Manage daily operations
of the plant, ensuring compliance with all company policies, food
safety standards, and governmental regulations. Oversee production
efforts to ensure that the plant operates efficiently, meets
production goals, and supports continuous improvements in
productivity and cost reduction. Coordinate with quality control
and maintenance staff to optimize productivity and quality through
strategic management of resources and staff. Implement and enforce
strict safety and sanitary regulations, emergency management, and
compliance with all health and environmental codes. Prepare and
manage budget and financial activities, analyze expenditures, and
implement cost-control measures. Lead, direct, evaluate, and
develop a team of managers and other staff to ensure the plant
achieves its production goals. Strong leadership capabilities
Expertise in supply chain and inventory management Deep knowledge
of food manufacturing processes and equipment Proficiency in
quality control, food safety, and compliance standards Ability to
develop and manage budgets effectively Excellent problem-solving,
organizational, and communication skills Professional certification
in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar is
preferred Food Safety Certification (e.g., HACCP, SQF, BRC)
