We are currently seeking an experienced Application Claims Specialist to manage and monitor billing, claims, collections and payroll duties at our Opelika branch location in Alabama. They will also provide assistance and support when claims issues and payroll issues arise.

Generate Scheduling Reports, Reconciliation Reports and Exception Reports in the company portal Review received checks Review Previous Authorization Lists and Recent Authorization Issues Review unsubmitted claims, denied claims and critical exceptions Conduct EVV training and other training courses for administrative staff Disable, enable and monitor users in the EVV system Troubleshoot claims and authorization issues with branches Review DataFlex claims Provide payroll assistance to branches, as needed Collections and billing duties Other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED Associate degree preferred At least 2 years of experience in electronic claims and/or electronic billing At least 3 years of experience in an administrative and/or clerical role Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word Valid driver's license Access to insured and reliable transportation
