Molding Material Handler - 12 Hour AM Shift

**How will you make an impact?**

The Auburn, AL team is looking for a Material Handler I to join their team. This position largely interacts with equivalent levels of internal personnel.

Under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for inspecting, weighing and boxing product. They then place product on skid, wrap and move to truck for distribution center.

**What will you do?**

+ Stock molding rooms with vital supplies during shift and at the end of shift before shift change.

+ Immediately advises maintenance/processing of any quality or downtime issues.

+ Pulls full boxes/crates from under machines.

+ Inspects parts for any defects or quality issues before closing box/crate.

+ Close all boxes/crates, weigh, apply label and stage.

+ Bring in any colorant or resin, as directed.

+ Moves all finished products to holding areas.

+ Sort quarantine built by your assigned machines, when time permits.

+ Removes and weighs all scrap by product and submits to supervisor on scrap log sheet.

+ Keep assigned machines clean including the floor under and around machines

+ Takes all trash to dumpster.

+ Cover for other Mold Operator during breaks.

+ Assures all documentation and labeling is accurate on all presses daily

+ Pulls samples for lab testing.

+ Other duties as required.

**How Will You Get Here?**

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required

+ Work well within a **Team** environment and ability to work independently, self motivated

+ Follows company policies including safety and environmental policies

+ Able to work 12 hour shifts.

+ Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift up to 35 pounds.

+ NO EXPERIENCE required.
