Auburn Advancement and the Harbert College of Business (HCOB) are
conducting a search for a Development Officer who is a
goal-oriented individual to join our development team. The ideal
candidate is self-motivated, metrics driven, and possesses an
innate ability to get things done. As a Development Professional,
you will have the opportunity to travel and conduct face-to-face
visits with HCOB Alumni and Supporters. This position helps connect
these individuals back to the College and University in a
philanthropic way that is meaningful to them, while making an
everlasting impact at Auburn University. This position is
responsible for the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and
stewardship of major gift prospects. This position will lead and
manage direct reports.

Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications Development Officer III ($64,700 -
$116,500)
Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience in fundraising,
marketing, sales, and/or public relations
Senior Major Gifts Officer ($82,600-$156,900)Bachelor's degree plus
7 ormore years of gift solicitation experience, development,
fundraising, or marketing with at least 2 or more years in a higher
education setting.
