JOB Description
Duties: There are three major purposes :
1) Business Promoter: This includes "promoting" high quality
technology and other cash services to the patient highlighting the
positive medical benefits to the patient to increase patient
understanding and therapeutic benefits in a positive and
motivational manner that will help the patient select the superior
medical service that will provide better outcomes for the patient
and increase the personal revenue of the right candidate and the
revenue of the business to a higher profit margin and assist with
superior patient outcomes. This will require a candidate with
superior people and social skills as well as a candidate with a
strong and sharp professional medical appearance who knows how to
dress professionally for each day of work. This will also require a
sales background from a candidate who has a track record( please
provide documentation) of successful sales and revenue generation
for a corporation or business for at least 3-5 years. The candidate
should also have strong experience in medical or business financial
collections experience ( 3-5 years).
2) Back Office Organizer: This requires experience in the back
office of a medical facility or physicians office. The right
candidate will have physical and emotional maturity but still be
capable of moving quickly in a fast paced medical office. At least
5-10 years experience in a medical office working in the capacity
of a medical assistant, medical coordinator with strong personal
organization experience, strong organizational personal skills and
experience coordinating, creating and managing office policies,
procedures and protocols. The candidate should also be a seasoned
and mature individual who prides him or herself on physical
organization as the candidate will need to be able to manage the
organization of the appearance, cleanliness and organization of
medical supply rooms, treatment rooms and administer and follow up
in a positive yet effective manner with younger employees
3) Back up Medical Assistant: When there is a large patient load
and/or there is a sick employee the candidate will assume the
duties of medical assisting and learn all procedures and medical
protocols in the medical office and become a leader among the
younger assistants due to previous experience in other offices. (
5-10 years of medical assisting experience or nursing
experience).
Other important details:
* communicating essential information to all other members of the
staff in an organized and effective manner after working with a
patient.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications.
* Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting
ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring
opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills/Qualifications:
1) Dedication: Has motivation to achieve something higher in life
and motivated by a strong work ethic that produces more income for
both themselves and the business in return. The candidate should
have leadership qualities that would enable them to stay a little
later or come early to make sure the office is functioning and not
be willing to let the "loose ends" hang out just because it is 5pm
or before 8 am.
2) Maturity/Punctuality: A demonstrated track record of rare
call-ins and absences and are dedicated and loyal to their place of
employment. ( 2-3 unexcused absences/call ins per year, 3-5 late
arrivals per year ),
3) Professional Appearance is a must: Hair, clothing and personal
preparations must be highly professional appearing and appealing
for patients and customers and fellow employees as a strong
example.
4) Strong Computer/Organizational Skills: Must be proficient in
computer progams both medical and non-medical and be capable at
trouble shooting software issues and some hardware issues as well
as strong writing communication skills.
