Join us to bring the gift of health to life.Position Summary:Responsible for monitoring and adjusting encapsulation machines to ensure production of quality herb capsules.Responsibilities:Operates up to three encapsulation machines simultaneously including:Making adjustments to produce capsules of the proper weight.Performs and records quality checks on capsules from each machine every 30 minutes; uses scales and micrometer as necessary; maintains written records of quality checks.Apply Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to Stage, Charge and Yield products.Cleans empty containers for re-use.Fills containers and weighs them to ensure contents meet weight requirements, seals bags and affixes labels to containers and places on skids for transport.Supplies blended product to encapsulating machine.Performs minor cleaning of equipment and production area and ensures sanitary conditions.Assists in changing tooling and cleans equipment when changing to new product.Performs all duties in compliance with safety, standard operating and general manufacturing procedures.Performs related duties as required.Minimum Qualifications:Education:---------- Requires High School education or its equivalent in work experience.Certification:---------- None.Experience:A working knowledge of the two-piece operation, typically resulting from three months or more of experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ---------- Requires:Manual dexterity to manipulate controls on encapsulating and testing equipment.Read English sufficiently well to read operating procedures and good manufacturing practices and batch records, communicate with supervisors and others, and maintain routine records.Physical Requirements:-- Stand/walk for the full work shift, with little/no flexibility to move from their stations unless relieved by others. --Perform repetitive job duties for long periods of time. Intermittently lift loads of up to 25 pounds. --Physical ability to work on feet for a full shift. Pulls/pushes boxes of product on/off line and/or pallets.Environment:-- Constant exposure to noise levels loud enough to require employees wear ear plugs.
