Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items
from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and
compile stock reports. Ensures that all deliveries are to Hotel
specifications, in accordance with Food & Beverage receiving
sheets, purchase orders, storing, handling and issuing of

complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are
low or out of stock so that they can be reordered.
Assists in conducting bi-weekly and month-end inventories.
Monitors and documents cooler and freezer temperatures to avoid

Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning
products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health
Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected
spills, or executing special guest requests.
Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach
with your body, arms, and/or legs.
Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a
few feet of the observer).
Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to
lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady
while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one
Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand
together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or

complete forms and inventories, read billings and invoices, and
communicate with co-workers and purveyors.
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push
goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. Goods
must be moved one or more items at a time, depending on size and
weight, at a continuous schedule.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull materials weighing up to 300 pounds.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms,
warehouses, or storage yards.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool
rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any
damage to supervisors.
Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric
marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Education and Training- Knowledge of the appropriate stock levels
for any given item kept in inventory and the amount of time the
item will be fresh. Basic mathematical skills necessary to
understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts and portion
sizes. Any combination of education, training or experience that
provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Grade school
education preferred. Prior inventory experience strongly preferred.
Food & Beverage experience also strongly preferred.
