  WHAT'S NEW WITH APTAR
  
  We have an exciting position open in North America: Production Scheduler I. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.
  
  THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS
  
  • Serves as a daily point of contact and liaison with Customer Service, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production departments to coordinate sales orders status,' completion dates and replenishment of raw materials
  • Convert and release production orders in SAP & APO to maximize availability of product to meet confirmed ship dates, inventory goals and exceed service goals while optimizing equipment and plant utilization.
  • Attend production meetings. Communicate with department leads to identify production issues or needs and respond quickly to production issues to ensure constant flow of orders physically and in SAP/MES.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy of the ERP scheduling board and relating MRP elements to communication is clear to all users.
  • Understand the flow of raw materials and product movement in production and storage areas to gain increases in efficiency over time through sequencing of production orders
    WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY
    
    • Education - Bachelor's Degree preferred. Will substitute 2 years of experience in planning or manufacturing experience for degree.
    • Experience: Production scheduling experience preferred but will train someone with manufacturing experience.
    • Ability to travel 5% of time if required.
