Job Description Job Description Manufacturing Manager Overview We’re looking for a hands-on Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for optimizing production line performance. You’ll work closely with operators and engineers to set up processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do Diagnose and resolve production line challenges quickly and effectively. Define and maintain process setup parameters for consistent quality. Train team members and lead trials for new product introductions. Maintain and improve process tooling to ensure smooth operations. Contribute to safety initiatives and committee activities. Document processes and improvement actions (approximately 30–40% of your time). What We’re Looking For Experience: 2–5 years in a manufacturing environment as an operator, team lead, or technician. Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities. Flexibility: Willingness to support off-shift or weekend work when needed. Knowledge: Basic understanding of EHS systems. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management principles. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts. Technical: Experience with Oracle R12 or similar ERP systems. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions. Preferred Qualifications Fiber optic termination or assembly experience.
