Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Birmingham, AL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,962 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments, including coronary artery disease, CABG, and dysrhythmias. - Competence in charting using Epic system. - Ability to work in a nurse-patient ratio of 1:4. Description: Looking for a dedicated registered nurse for a progressive care unit. This position is for the night shift, working 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. Experience with cardiac care and procedures such as cardiac cath, open heart surgery, ablation, and ICD placement is preferred. Candidates must be able to float to related cardiac areas as needed. Scrub color is navy blue. Nursing responsibilities will include patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
