Job Description Job Description Position: Academic Hospitalist – Internal Medicine Residency Program Location: Dothan, AL Schedule: Full-Time About the Opportunity An established Internal Medicine Residency Program in Dothan, Alabama is seeking an Academic Hospitalist to join its faculty team. This position combines inpatient clinical practice with teaching and mentoring responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for physicians interested in academic medicine. The incoming physician will play a key role in supervising residents, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting scholarly activities, all while practicing hospital medicine in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
